The spring and fall are associated with daylight savings times and are important energetic times in year. According to Five Element Acupuncture theory the seasons in nature show up energetically in the human body. When we move with ease through the seasons we move with ease through life.
Come enjoy this special yoga and acupuncture workshop to support you through the change of seasons. During our workshop you will experience deep breathing to turn on the parasympathetic nervous system (the one that helps us rest), a series of gentle vinyasa, and restorative yoga poses to begin connecting back to our bodies. Connecting to the body helps ease the time change and helps regulate our circadian rhythm. We will then complete a simple, yet very effective acupuncture treatment. The first point will calm the mind. The second point will connect us to the metal energy, which is associated with the fall and the third point will connect us to the wood energy, which is associated with the spring. Together these points will leave you feeling calm, at ease, and ready for the season.
